I - seemingly like a lot on here - don't particularly find Biden that inspiring. But, on a scale of 1-10, if he managed a 5 or 6, then you come across as more a 2 or 3. It's as though some progressives have chosen to sulk, throw their toys out of the pram and head off down the road to political irrelevance. Or, if you like, electorally speaking its as though they've opted out of the process and chosen impotence. And then wonder why, for many, this is not such a great proposition. Power to the people? Not really - even Sanders has not chosen to listen to their desire not to endorse Biden. Maybe you won't like this message or might find it insulting. But,fuck me, if you as a 'spokesman' for the progressive movement can't even move people on this thread in your direction (some of whom have openly said that they would prefer policies more in line with Sanders than Bidens) then how on earth do you expect progressives to inspire enough movement to win the next election? Which would be your goal, right? Til then, maybe supporting Biden is not such an outlandish idea? Not ideal but what about a vote for pragmatism?
