Hence, the EMPHASIS.See, the problem is that the term “CHARACTER MATTERS” doesn’t resonate with the poster in question.
You’re a bright fellow, so I’ll leave it to you to see if you can figure out why.
There appear to be about 75 million Americans for whom character doesn’t matter, either.
it’s a sad world we live in, when character falls completely off “The Basics” list for elected office.
Then again, some would say there would only be far less than 100 Senators and who knows how few Congressmen if it was a requirement!
This is who we have become...or, sadly, always were, in a country where money, power and privilege have ALWAYS been considered essential American requirements for success.
There is a reason we hold up the “American Dream” and those who achieve it...They are such a small minority of people, we have to promote the lie as broadly and loudly as possible to allow the siphoning of America’s wealth out the back door to continue!
