So you dont know if hes done a press conference then.
Seems a bit surprising if he hasnt as hes a new President in a pandemic and vaccine roll out.
It's not really surprising at all.
You're acting as if the President is the only government spokesperson who should be keeping everyone up to date at all times.
Biden gave his big speech at the beginning of his term and set out the targets of his administration and how they were going to hit them, and now he's letting the people responsible for that speak to the press.
The White House press secretary answers questions every day. Fauci and the pandemic response team are on TV almost every day. There is no lack of information out there, Biden just isn't the one handing it out.
It's probably a deliberate strategy to try and distance himself from Trump, who used his press conferences to lie non-stop and peddle conspiracy theories and misinformation. Trump's White House went almost a full year without a press briefing because Trump was more interested in speaking to his supporters via Fox News than governing. Biden's administration holds a press briefing 5x a week.
It's also not as if Biden isn't speaking to the American public, he's done dozens of public appearances where he answers questions from the gathered media, and he has given plenty of public statements and done sit down interviiews.
The fact he's not done an official white house press conference is meaningless and shows we're right back to the Fox News make a mountain out of a molehill strategy that saw them spend a week attacking Obama* for using the wrong kind of mustard on a hot dog.
