I think what he does to help 330 million people recover from the pandemic and its economic consequences is a little more important than what he does to prevent a few thousand desperate people from entering the country illegally from Mexico.Unfortunately his loses his train of thought too often and his foes and so called friends alike will take advantage of it.

I agree with you on the job he's doing, and yes also aware that his political opponents will delight in every physical / verbal stumble they can find. He clearly is knackered though - ageing doesn't seem to be the same / linear for all and all you have to do is compare footage of him now with 10 years ago to see he's over his own personal cliff-edge. Also, there is of course a large space in time for most of us between being not really capable of stuff and dying which is where he may well still be in 8 yrs time. I don't see him as a great reformer, but rather quietly and gently undoing the worst damage of the previous regime while keeping out of the hysterical witch-hunt side of things - in short, statesmanlike, for which he should be applauded.
