Start with politicians. It's not that hard to see who's moving the Overton window.

Up for discussion. I admit at being initially surprised at the whole Trump movement but am now amazed at it’s trajectory stillNot so sure that's true.
Some who are not refer to Commies as Commies and some who are not Conservatives are labelled as such by both Conservatives and Left of Centre and again depending on your leaning and view of these things determine your view on the individuals whom you label and all that entails as a result of labelling.RWNJs refer to everyone that isn't a RWNJ as left and anyone left of centre as a Commie.
These days the labels are very blurred and of least importance so in my case I prefer not to use labels like RWNJs and Extreme Lefties as it deflects from the issues hand.
Some for example might consider Biden a leftie , some a centrist , some a moderate and some a conservative right wing politician.
I prefer to look at the policies his government pursues and how they goes about implementing them or whether they should at all.

I get what you're saying and in principle that's true, but with politicians like Biden, who likes to empathise with being 'left' without showing any true inclination of that, you would have to examine the core structure of their policies.
Biden, very much, comes down on the side of big business with bailouts in the guise of subsidies. Ask if he would do that for the people who work at the shitty stick end of big business and he's laughing in your face.
Whatever he is, it's certainly not left in principle, but in small appeasement, only.
