I’m still not convinced he’s a stooge aside from he personally wants the same level of control in the US as Putin does in Russia and is envious of both him and Xi.

Untrammelled power and trying to get everyone else to agree with his own messiah complex are his core motivations. With Ukraine, he made a very big deal of being able to stop the war within a day and he absolutely believed he’d win a Nobel peace prize for it.

As someone has already said, the quickest way to end a war is lose it so for Trump, that’s get the smaller side to capitulate. He doesn’t care about lasting peace one iota, he cares about it enough for him to get his prize.

What he didn’t factor in, due to being a complete narcissist, is there are people leading their countries not for the sake of individual gain but servitude. That makes him hate and project onto Zelensky even more. He’s stopping his goal of being seen as the ultimate peace and deal maker and also showing leadership in a way Trump can’t even remotely equate to.

He’s that far gone, as well as his core supporter base, that they’re willing to throw out a 100 years build up of American soft and hard power in less than 100 days.

You’d hope this would act as alarm bells to voters everywhere as every single warning sign was there, not just in his political career, everything in his life up to that point showed his character and how totally unfit he was. In this post truth world though and with supporters of people like him controlling the information people consume across the board, I’m not sure what actually has to happen for people to truly realise that. I sincerely hope it’s not as bad as it has been in the past…

I don’t think he either gets anywhere near power in the first place or acts as he is doing if he really was. I think it’s more genuine envy rather than being in the pocket.

There is a fab in Chadderton with more than 100 million worth of equipment in it.

Not sure where they are getting all the water from in Arizona. There is already a lot of semi there and it is ridiculously water intensive.

I'm not saying every Trump voter, because a lot of them were either too stupid to understand the consequences of their vote or voted on a single issue (predominantly border security). Although they do bear a share of the blame for not taking the time to be informed about exactly what they were voting for.

It's those who voted to 'own' the libs, or those who voted for the obviously racist immigration policies, or those who voted because they knew a Trump win would allow them to grift, scam or otherwise make a truck load of money whilst knowing the majority of Americans would be worse off. So what did they do, they called on an ex marine to go all patriot on him. To criticse him for daring to diss the Supreme leader. then going to invoke and rile the mob up with suggesting he was disrespecting the to (sacred) Marines and those brave members of the armed forces. It got even more comical when he criticised Moulton for calling them "names". I almost spat my coffee out with that at the ignorance and failure to think back to Trumps standard operating procedure of calling people names and belittling them at every turn, "Lyin' Ted", "Little Marco", "Pocahontas"...etc etc
And yet that diet of misinformation is just lapped up by so many.
I do find it amusing also how Fox has even turned on old Tucker.

Trump bet the farm on this deal - the US economy needs this - Zelenskyy can just ignore him and watch as the impact hits - Trump has spoken today about bringing microchip production to the USA from Taiwan (though no indication as to how he would do that) but unless conductors can be manufactured out of Buccee's wrappers and hope how does he think they can be made? If Zelenskyy can hold Putin at bay whilst ignoring a Trump who is tanking his economy Trumps head will explode

Are you certain though? After the last shitshow of his presidency, and the subsequent court cases, I was certain the vast majority of americans would distance themselves from him if he stood again. That didn't age well
