Can’t speak for the demographics in the US Election but it was close enough to suggest that waking people up to the consequences who thought they didn’t have much skin in the game (or simply couldn’t be arsed voting) could have made a difference to the outcome.

One of the worst things remainers did was put Nicola Sturgeon on national tv, in front of the English to tell them to vote remain
I still wonder if this was a ploy by her that she knew she was utterly despised in England, so the English would swing the vote to Brexit just out of spite to her then she could really campaign for an independent Scotland with a "join the EU" message

trump is still a **** and dax still hasn't answered my question of should trump have been charged with inciting a riot following the 2020 election

Don’t waste any emotional energy engaging mate.

If that was her plan, then she completely miscalculated. Scotland is now more stuck with England because of Brexit.

My retirement accounts are all in Schwab Brokerage Accts and I’m sleeping soundly!

I’m 60% CASH (Schwab 4.1% Money Fund), 30% BRKB and about 5% each of AMZN & META, but I’d hardly say the stock market has tanked…yet!

I saw this chart in the NY Times the other day and thought it cut through a lot of what you hear about the last election, and what it will take for the country to turn on Trump:

Some of us are not as fortunate as yourself. I have worked all my life and my pension has tanked £7k because of the idiot. I simply can't afford for £7K to be wiped out from my pension. £7K may be a trivial amount for a highflyer like yourself. But for most of us on here (working class Mancs) it's an awful lot of money.
You might be sleeping soundly. But it's an absolute disaster for lots of us and we played no part in it.
