Trust is gone - for generations I think.
By being the guardian and backstop of Western values since WW2 the US had so much political capital - if it needed assistance they would get it.
Not any more, Trump has single handedly destroyed the US Empire of soft power - and dominance.
Even the preminance of the US dollar, Wall Street and the protection of poor US multinational business practice is seriously threatened.

This alliance with the yanks has always been on their terms. Yanks have always treated Europe and the UK poorly.
Europe should have fucked of the yanks decades ago, told them to get of our bases get out of our counties. With this lunatic in charge these bases etc are basically sleeper cells. European countries could be attacked from within as the yanks are here in plain sight.

That requires European leaders to change and actially put defence first - that isn’t going to happen.
Without strong defence, investment in people, health, personal wealth and the reduction in poverty is an illusion.

With America like most countries having all these satellites! I think Trump comes out with all the bile just to see what Iran do? Saying he could send 10k army he might think Iran might move there army somewhere! It’s like when he said we giving them 10 more days he is saying that because they are running short on certain weapons so giving America time to..
