There will be a period of healing amongst the allies. Guarantees that this could never happen again will be sought. The guy who takes over from this idiot will have an awful lot of bridge building to do. I don't think there is a world leader of any credence that respects him.
I don't think Baron will be too arsed about building bridges. ;)The guy who takes over from this idiot will have an awful lot of bridge building to do. I don't think there is a world leader of any credence that respects him.
Depending who they get in nextThere will be a period of healing amongst the allies. Guarantees that this could never happen again will be sought.
The main problem will be regaining trust. Not one ally will rely on the US again. Never again will the US preach to other nations about morals/democracy/international law.
Defence contracts will be severely hit. Ones already in place scaled back. Trade will be diverted and diversified.
The consequences of Trump's actions will be long felt after he has gone...
Trust is gone - for generations I think. There will be a period of healing amongst the allies. Guarantees that this could never happen again will be sought.

That requires European leaders to change and actially put defence first - that isn’t going to happen. This alliance with the yanks has always been on their terms. Yanks have always treated Europe and the UK poorly.
Europe should have fucked of the yanks decades ago, told them to get of our bases get out of our counties. With this lunatic in charge these bases etc are basically sleeper cells. European countries could be attacked from within as the yanks are here in plain sight.
Falklands we asked to use some yanks bases, and for some support. Guess what the yanks said no.
They never had been a special relationship with America only a relationship were by Britain does as the school yard bully says.
Europe done has grown some balls and wont be bullied by the yanks.
Britain has grown a small pair of balls but still allows this illegal war to be fought from our land. Disgusting.
Wholeheartedly agree. There will be a period of healing amongst the allies. Guarantees that this could never happen again will be sought.

In the UK you'd be paying around $10 per gallon. In my area around $6 per gallon.
Yes, I know — just a comparative to other U.S. states, not nations. In the UK you'd be paying around $10 per gallon.
The Orange Cnut was banging on about that the last time he was POTUS.Trump has demanded that any nation that frovides less than 5% of GDP on defence can no longer make NATO decisions???
Err, are you sure about that TACO man...
The last accounts available put US defence expendiutue at 3.4% of GDP in 2024-25
LOL. They just mindlessly cheer. “Who wants to see their left arm amputated?” “WOOOOOOO!”
Guess that's why Dax voted for him and sucks him off at every turn..

Dax is a liar and a coward who, precisely as I predicted, will never show his face here again despite saying he would “never leave” the thread.
