It’s not democracy though. The super rich have seized power and they won’t let go. Future US elections will be a sham with the far right controlling both the narrative and the media. What’s most worrying is the response of the rest of the world to Trump et al - as weak and pathetic as the opposition to Hitler in the 1930s.

People still vote with their hip pockets and issues that impact them as individuals on an economic and to a lesser extent of issues that mean something to them.

The vast majority don't follow any narratives ( whatever that may be outside social and main stream media anyway ) or the media and left wing media is on the decline because they focus on a negative agenda that lacks commonsense.

I would expect the Democrats as long as they choose a half decent candidate to win the 2028 election.

Its the same as the Green and left wing agenda of the ABC in Australia , you wash rinse and repeat and eventually your clothes need changing and if you don't they will be changed for you hence the declining number of people tuning into the ABC outside game shows , gardening programs and some documentaries.

Harris was a poor politician and a terrible public speaker promoted well above her pay grade , Biden was and still is of course suffering from advanced vascular dementia so the democrats were on a hiding to nothing irrespective of who the Republicans put forward , its a simple as that combined with higher than necessary inflation and most Americans knowing they were worse off than they were in 2020.

I expected a landslide win to Trump despite my personal disdain for him as a person and a politician.

it would have been better if Covid had not snuck out of the Wuhan Lab and Trump would be a thing of the past now.

In the end advertisers and viewers determine the narrative.

Trump is an egotistical , unhinged , serial liar , with a eye for making a deal and taking all of the credit for those that benefit him both personally and politically , sadly deluded at best and not a particularly savory character.

Hitler was someone who in the end wanted to and succeeded in exterminating millions of Jews and invade and occupy by military force as many countries in Europe as possible and i as quick a timeline as possible.

In 2022 in the USA undocumented migrants contributed around 100 Billion Dollars to the US economy, and whilst that's a drop in the bucket it terms of the economy as a whole, it isn't nothing..

Undocumented migrants makeup >40% of farm workers and food production plant workers. Without those workers the US food industry would be on its arse and food prices would be through the roof.

To just round them all up and ship them out in such a short space of time is absolutely idiotic.

Can I ask how you save for your taxes? I’m assuming you do a tax return and get a bill, but how do you even go about saving on the side to pay that bill, obviously in the uk ours is taken at source mostly so I’ve never had to fill one out.

Mine is taken at the source, too. Then, I file a tax return and either send them a cheque or get one from the IRS.

I filled out a W-4 with my employer and they send my estimated tax money to the IRS. Simple.

Do the same with my State Income Taxes.

He's basically shutting down any ability to scrutinise his actions in any way. If you look at some of the Executive Orders in stopping the CDC and other health agencies reporting issues and concerns, it really is quite alarming what he's trying to do.
