Donald Trump has announced he's suing The New York Times, just days after he threatened to do so over its reporting into his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, the US president said he had "the Great Honor of bringing a $15bn Defamation and Libel Lawsuit" against "one of the worst and most degenerate newspapers in the History of our Country".

He just rambles until he hits on a talking point, then he starts going down his long list of grievances and self-anointed plaudits.

He’d be considered a geriatric patient if he didn’t live where he does, dress like he does, or have the protection he does.

Funny stuff, as it has the EXACT OPPOSITE record of accomplishment.
 
Trump is highlighting what is wrong with America.
The justice system in the UK is impartial and in many instances has gone against what the government of the day wanted.
Trump is trying to sack Lisa Cook from the Federal Reserve. The US Court of Appeal has just voted 2-1 he can't do it.
The 2 judges were Bidens appointment, the other Trumps.
The Trump favouring judge seems to admit his decision is not based on law but on allegiance.
You cannot have a fair and democratic system of law if those administering it are not impartial.

He wants people to ignore what is actually wrong with America whilst simultaneously trying to push the narrative that immigrants and democrats are the real problem, and it's all for personal aggrandisement. He is truly an evil man.

I totally agree but even if he wasnt in power, you cannot have judges appointed by presidents.

I have a subscription to NYT; it's the best £10 a month I spend. The reporting is exemplary, the topics are wide-ranging and, most importantly, it's unfrightened to report from both divides. Also won 135 Pulitzer prizes, I believe.

So no real surprise to see a deranged narcissist label it degenerate.
