I think that would be scandalous, can you give me an example of these certain jobs they aren't allowed to apply for?

I must admit I missed Starmer pushing through legislation to restrict non-white people from claiming asylum. Although the number of hoops you've jumped through to make this correlation to the article I posted is impressive, I'll give you that.

‘Positive Action’ is a contradiction within the Equality Act, 2010. It is really positive discrimination but it’s just given a different name. And it does occur.

In 2022, the Warehouse Project advertised jobs that were ‘open to everyone, but priority will be given to those from underrepresented groups, prioritising women and people of marginalised genders, POC, LGTBQi+ and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds’.

They got away with it because they said the jobs were ‘open to everyone’ (which falls within how Positive Action allowed them not to fall foul of the Equality Act) despite them not really being open to everyone.

That’s just one example I know of. Other people may know of others.

There are cases where jobs/ employers encourage applications from minority socio-economic groups. White males are not disallowed from applying, but the selection filter might decide against them. I write this from recent personal experience. Based on the series of questions which were answered in the initial application. This does not make me a Reform voter, flag shagger or anything of the sort- far from it- but this was my experience.

So from the article, from two years ago, no one was unable to apply for a job. A couple of dozen recruits were held back whilst women and minorities were fast tracked, it was deemed unlawful and the men were compensated.

So all in all, absolutely nothing like the knuckle dragging gammon stated. Got it, appreciate you posting the link.
