President Trump

If he attacks Greenland all USA based in Europe should be told to leave.
And if they don't?
We are pretty powerless. We would look for negotiation and give them 6 months to leave fearing war. He would pick us off one country at a time.
Just like Hitler.
It sounds far fetched but we could not unify to stop him.
Italy and other right wing countries would probably welcome him. If we had Farage I'm sure we would.

Well they can’t fly without permission, just turn them back if they want to come in and don’t allow them to take off unless going back to USA, even their pilots aren’t stupid enough to take off.

I don’t think they would mate, there’s still a lot of sensible people here, to invade here he would have to come via France or Ireland, I’d like to also think that we may well have assets that will attempt to take him out, remember there’s only 50 million idiots in usa there will be people over there who would only willing help to over throw him.

Six weeks ago, Senator Mark Kelly — and five other members of Congress — released a reckless and seditious video that was clearly intended to undermine good order and military discipline. As a retired Navy Captain who is still receiving a military pension, Captain Kelly knows he is still accountable to military justice. And the Department of War — and the American people — expect justice.

Therefore, in response to Senator Mark Kelly’s seditious statements — and his pattern of reckless misconduct — the Department of War is taking administrative action against Captain Mark E. Kelly, USN (Ret). The department has initiated retirement grade determination proceedings under 10 U.S.C. § 1370(f), with reduction in his retired grade resulting in a corresponding reduction in retired pay.

To ensure this action, the Secretary of War has also issued a formal Letter of Censure, which outlines the totality of Captain (for now) Kelly’s reckless misconduct. This Censure is a necessary process step, and will be placed in Captain Kelly’s official and permanent military personnel file.

Captain Kelly has been provided notice of the basis for this action and has thirty days to submit a response. The retirement grade determination process directed by Secretary Hegseth will be completed within forty five days.

Captain Kelly’s status as a sitting United States Senator does not exempt him from accountability, and further violations could result in further action.

These actions are based on Captain Kelly's public statements from June through December 2025 in which he characterized lawful military operations as illegal and counseled members of the Armed Forces to refuse lawful orders. This conduct was seditious in nature and violated Articles 133 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, to which Captain Kelly remains subject as a retired officer receiving pay.

Like the NRA, who swore for years that their sole purpose was to defend against and overthrow a tyrannical government, and then accidentally forgot to rise up in 2021 when Trump tried to stage a coup?

Those kind of people?

That would be thrown out of court in a heartbeat, and they know it. You only have to watch Mark Kelly's statement to see that not once did he say 'refuse lawful orders'. In fact, he explicitly said 'refuse unlawful orders'. That point was made quite clearly.

For his next stunt, it's all pointing to Trump taking Greenland by force: kite-flying about actually doing it by both him and his sycophants... continual criticism of the EU... continual criticism of NATO... continual criticism of European leaders...

His handler, Putin, must be rubbing his hands with glee.

Ditto Farage, who's gone very quiet, but would welcome Trump or Putin in with open arms - whichever one invaded first!

And just like that, the Epstein files have fallen off the agenda.

But... VENGEANCE!!! COMPLETELY BARKING MAD VENGEANCE!!!! The Great Orange must be VENGED!!!

And Action Man Heggy is the man to do it!

USA, China and Russia have the biggest military in the world. They could sit down and divide the world up between them (and possibly are) and there is fuck all we could do about it. Western Europe has been incredidbly naive and has effectively neutered itself.
The USA has the biggest military in the world, but couldn't control Afghanistan, Korea or Vietnam. I doubt there is much apetite in the US for a forever war in South America, with increased migration as a result. One thing a foreign invader does is unite the native population. The US have always used proxys, to circumvent this, but in todays political landscape. I'm not sure Trump will get many takers.

Russia is bogged down in Ukraine and the economy is gradually worsening. It has a mixed relationship with Turkey and with the EU. It is building up it's naval strength, subs etc, but it is succeptible to a serious sea blockade because of geography and it knows it. St Petersburg would be put into play if it moved on the EU, and that would be the end of much of Putins support. It would also risk Belarus falling and it's whole western border being a hard border.

China has three aircraft carriers. It also has some pretty big neighbours, India 1.4 billion, Indonesia 280 million, Pakistan 250 million, even Bangladesh has 175 million. Not sure how it is going to control the eastern world, even if it wanted to.

Without doubt. The quality of the fighting equipment, motivation, supplies, conditions and leadership are all vitally important. So in Ukraine for instance, the motivation of the defenders is far, far higher than the that of the Russian soldiers who are probably thinking "what the fuck am I fighting for". Same in Vietnam, same in Russia in WW2. Israel v Palestine has developed into both sides thinking they are defending their homeland.
Most of the Russian soldiers in Ukraine are conscripts, who are indeed probably thinking wtf
