President Trump

Don't get it twisted. I'm not saying he "played no role". But Trump didn't need convincing. Trump has been speaking out against Iran and the need to prevent them from acquiring nuclear weapons for decades, long before he was ever a politician. Trump made repeated attempts to attempt diplomacy with Iran and negotiate. But Iran was not willing to play ball. Trump gave them chance after chance but Iran was not cooperating and was becoming a bigger and bigger threat, not just to Israel but they were quickly becoming more powerful. US and Israel had to put a stop to their ambitions now before it was too late, for us all. There is no scenario where an insane regime like IRGC can be allowed to eclipse America as the World Superpower. In no way is IRGC preferable to America. America is uniquely positioned to handle Iran, due to their position so far away from Iran, and due to their coordination with Israel and other Gulf allies. US needs to finish the job and put an end to IRGC ASAP. I worry that this ceasefire will be used by Iran to re-arm. I hope Trump has a plan, I'm not sure he does but I'm certainly rooting for him and for America and Israel to defeat this evil. IRGC is a danger to the world and they have revealed themself, they have shown us exactly who they are and what they do, and it's important that we understand that.
Where I will agree with you is that the current situation benefits no one but Iran. Politically, they're in a stronger position now than they have been for a long time, while the plight of the Iranian people is far worse, not to mention the catastrophic effects on the Gulf countries and the world economy. Only getting half the job done is utterly pointless.

You've misinterpreted this. I was not saying they're strong now. Now Iran is weak and more vulnerable than ever. And what they're doing with the strait is a sign of desperation. I'm saying they were getting stronger and stronger leading up to the 12 day war. Had Israel and US not acted to knock out their nuclear sites, they would only continue to become stronger and more of a threat. Had Trump not taken the actions, Iran would have been allowed to become stronger and stronger and more difficult to deal with, especially with the uncertainty of the US political situation, with the mid terms coming up. The political leverage to do this exists now and the opportunity presented itself.

We'll agree to disagree then

I know it’s blatant propaganda from a despicable regime but knowing Trump sees these because he’s online does make them hilarious.

Also bizarre to think people will be studying these in the future like we used to look at those old Punch propaganda cartoons in history lessons.

I really want to know how they’re created too. Which AI engine are they using? Who is writing the lyrics? How many views are they getting worldwide across all platforms. When this is all behind us I think there’ll be some fascinating research about it.

It is bizarre that IRGC is literally is playing with legos like petulant man childs.

You first.
They question is, can they? If they can't, at least they've de-fanged IRGC to a large degree. It's been a campaign unlike anything we've never seen before. It took guts. When it comes to the Americans they don't just talk the talk they walk the walk, they took meaningful action to address the threat. I don't always agree with it, but when it comes to Iran, the danger is clear and to reduce that danger is a good result. On the other hand, we are sick of war and really need to see this come to an end.

I don't think so. The public has never been behind it, and the material and human costs would be huge and escalate quickly.

There's an argument for degrading the Iranian military but I think this war has gone as far as it can. The best outcome would be calling it a day and using international pressure to reopen the Strait.

Is that you Donald you fat orange ****

Trump didn't need convincing from Bibi or anyone else for that matter to act. That's another tired talking point designed to project the idea that Israel "controls" America or Trump. I hate to break it to you, but Trump acts on his own and doesn't need Bibi to tell him what to do.

There does not need to be an imminent threat for the US to act. If you wait until something is an imminent threat then you have a bigger problem than if you take care of the problem before it becomes more difficult to manage.
Wow.
'There does not need to an imminent threat for the US to act'
Did you actually type that or was it a bot ?

If that statement was true, not one country in the world is safe from Hamericuh.

A fuckin' criminal, in the legal and war criminal sense can attack/bomb/murder anyone he perceives to be a threat.

Seriously?

Is that why Joe Kent, previously NCTC Director, and key Trump ally, resigned from his position because, as he stated, Iran did not pose a threat to the United States and was negotiating with the US, just prior to the attack, which he described as being driven by outside influences, lacking a plan and did not align with the intelligence picture his department had shared?

Ye like murdering 170 school girls it must take real guts to do that, bit like the Israelis murdering 20 odd thousand of them, but coming from a country that puts having the right to have guns ahead of its children but don’t use them for their intended purpose you’d have taken out Trump and his government by now that’s what the 2nd amendment is for.
