Do you really think they have? You’re taking the ‘American’ mindset, bomb the shit out of them and we’ve won. In reality, all that the Yanks have done is make a regime more intent on not allowing themselves to be in this position again. The anti-American sentiment has increased significantly and I don't mean just in the Middle East. Many didn't have much time for America before this and they were often a topic of ridicule, but now the feeling is of a more serious tone. Perhaps they shouldn't all be painted with the same brush, but they got themselves into this mess that affects us all and they are doing very little to get out of it.
Iran will be even more determined to have a nuclear option than ever before and they have also learned that the Strait Of Hormuz has real leverage.
The whole region (if not the whole world) is worse off now than it was before this catastrophe started.

I think most people would want this to come to an end, it’s been one big fuck up by Trump right from the start. The reason the US wants it to all end is because they are out of options with Iran outsmarting them and regardless of all the US military might, now has them by the short and curlies. If they weren’t in such a big bloody hole with no way out, they’d still be like young kids on bonfire night in awe of beautiful bombs and bigly explosions, instead of desperately wanting a way out.
