Pressure is on Manchester City - Harry Redknapp

The pressure is very much on Spurs, not us.

We don't win the title, we dust ourselves off, continue to build tge squad and have another go next season.

They go on a run like last season and miss the top 4 and it's bye bye Bale, bye bye Modric.

Even if they make it these players are going to want to earn top 4 money.

If they don't win this season will they ever have a better chance?

hear hear, David Platt for the next "The pressure is on City question" press

Load of shite being posted on this thread. He's doing a good job at Spurs.

Being honest, they were in the bottom 3 when he took over. Now they are challenging for the title. He's done an awesome job, and i don't see how anyone can say any different.

He's only saying the pressure is on us, because, well it is. Spurs are performing above expectation. We're having a very good season, but that was to be expected. He's just taking the pressure of his own team with those comments.

That said, they have a tough run coming up, so i'll start to worry about them if they come through it well.

Bollocks.

The question is;
did he not Spent? did the under achievement spuds spent big money?
3rd highest big spender ahead of City

3. Tottenham - £187.2m
League position: 14th
All the gear and no idea springs to mind, but this figure is skewed by the return of Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane to White Hart Lane.
Even so, £187.2m represents a significant outlay for a Carling Cup trophy and a relegation battle.
Plus Redknapp is always complaining about the relatively small size of his first team squad.

No problems with Harry.

All he is doing is trying put the pressure on us by making these statements. We would do the same.

I also enjoy having an English manager doing well in the prem.

I obviously hope we smash them all over the place at the Etihad next week but the comments people make on here are just crazy.

How many trophy did exactly the England's pride Tax fraud embarrassing Harry have 1? thought so

Found this article from two years ago.

I think it suggests that Spurs have in fact spent more than most.

only 3 seasons ago and spuds were blowing more cash than us and did before that for a long time trying and failing to buy success as usual...

...and you'd think the way the medja bleats on that they are a team built on English academy talent.....like the rags..........fpmsl

Hypocrites

Spurs having a little dig about the cash that we have spent? Short memories. Talk about throwing their Babychams out of the pram! Tottenham. Sugar. Gazza. Sky.

Spurs and the rest of the leading teams started the process and now whinge that someone wants to gatecrash their cosy party!!

Are we talking about......

The same Spurs owned by billionaires?

The same Spurs whose manager is in court for, allegedly, not paying his tax?

The same Spurs we spanked 5-1??

Harry and VDV getting a bit giddy and we will bring them back down to earth.

we all know spurs players cost nothing and play for the love of the club , yooniteds players are all home grown future england superstars but city have paid £5 billion on overpaid foreign mercenaries , but if we win the premiership for the next ten years , i will take a few more of them there mercenaries

He was having handbags with Big Mick , think Harry is feeling the pressure himself..
