Pretty Naff films that you actually quite like

Damn. You've got some guts. I'm an American and I can't make it through that Bill Pullman speech. It's like my kryptonite. By contrast, the Bill Murray speech in Stripes gets me psyched up enough to follow Gen. Patton into battle.

It is a difficult watch no matter what side of the pond you are on. I always think if I was there I would like to shout out, save all that bollocks would you treacle, lets just go and fight them ffs! :)
 
Not sure that qualifies as a "Naff" film.

It isn't. I think some people don't understand that film is a tribute to time and place. If you've ever been around Mormons or understand American geek teen culture, that film makes perfect sense.

I love it. It was recommended by someone who said it wasn't remotely funny, and was the worst film they'd ever seen - naturally I was drawn to it. I loved it from the first scene.
