Personally I wouldn't buy one because I go to every home game, so it'd cost more. And to be honest, even if you missed a handful of games, you'd still end up better off with a standard season card. However, for some it may work, those who maybe go to half the home games and want to sit with their mates. Suppose it gives fans more options.... They're sold out, so many people must think they're worthwhile.
Yes, Flexi Gold does have benefits. Erm…..?
You pay your ‘£150 up front’(why?), and you can pick and choose the games you want to buy a ticket for 3 weeks in advance of the game.
All season tickets are sold out, not just Flexi Gold.
The lapsed season tickets could be kept on and sold to fans who are waiting for a season ticket, but they are now being sold as individual match day tickets. The amount of season tickets are going down, not staying the same amount, or increasing in amount.
That aside.
What about the £150 surcharge, specifically?
I don’t think the current Flexi Gold season ticket guarantees you can sit with your mates, unless I’m mistaken? That maybe available to do when the new Flexi Gold season tickets are released for the new North stand?(expansion)
