There's something going on where I work - all very hush hush and the usual lads who set the stage/PA/lighting up have been told they're not needed.

Been a lot of fancy gear brought in through the back doors too.

So when / how do tickets go on sale (not that I will be able to make it) if the gigs are this weekend?

I work at Band On The Wall and he isn't playing here unfortunately. We've got Craig Charles on Saturday and Gappy Ranks on Friday.

I have seen him live and he was a true performer excellent concert

He said about playing a 200 capacity basement venue, which would be the soup kitchen I reckon. The other night will be the Albert hall by the sounds of it.
Oh, and these secret gigs aren't free like a lot of secret gigs tend to be, £70 a ticket on the door at the London ones

£70 at one and £10 at the other i've read, weird.

another act i'd love to see live but will only happen at a festival (stones, fleetwood mac etc...) ridiculous ticket prices

Seen him at Maine Road, was one of the best concerts ( Queen, Rush, Kiss ) I've been to.

I went to see him at a one off UK show he did at the Apollo a few years back

Best gig I've been to in my lifetime

The guy can play every instrument under the sun..brilliantly

He even played Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love that night...BETTER than Zeppelin...
