Priti Vacant has a plan, a deal with migrants plan.

It’s not really about immigration. It’s being used as an excuse now to explain 11 years of straight cuts.

It caused Brexit, yet it still creates issues for the Tories. The EU were the cause of this unacceptable rise in immigration. Yet we’re into the second year of a pandemic and even that didn’t shut our borders.

Immigration isn’t an issue if the “natives” have decent jobs, access to a decent health service and able to buy a house.

If there was zero immigration, this wouldn’t be the case.

At some point in the future, the penny will drop. Who knows when this will be and how bad things are.

Un Pretty Patel.

The woman who said the Irish should be brought to book by starving them.

Let that sink in for a minute.

And then the you watch Question Time and some bloke thinks the Royal Navy should be firing shells at French trawlers around the Channel Islands.

Tories, eh?

What sort of country we are turning into?

Generous lol
I'm not for a minute saying the WHOLE benefits system is generous and profligate, in fact the people most deserving of benefits, the genuinely disabled or people who have previously worked and paid in to the system all their adult life and then suddenly find themselves out of work and needing to claim, are the ones who get the rawest deal.

But for those who know how to play the system, especially the feckless breeders, the typical Sharons with 3x3, then the benefits on offer are ridiculously generous and easy to obtain.

Think you’ll find the majority of the UK electorate quite like our borders to be of the ‘closed’ variety.
Oh they would and that is.the point I make: This nation wants closed borders in yet open borders out. The hypocrisy and privilege is still embedded in many people.

We need to examine the role of the UK media in all of this too.

This focus is the one so beloved of the Daily Mail but they never, ever mention the major UK companies that pay zero tax nor the estimated £32 trillion of hidden wealth in the British territories; benefit fraud is a tiny issue compared to this.

I assume you are not familiar with the housing allowances given to such migrants, and the rental agents who live handsomely off this population? I know of one such person who has made herself into a multimillionaire by renting properties to asylum seekers from who she doesn’t even have to collect rent…because she gets paid directly!

Fucking hell I didn't know that they had second homes..... they live in houses in addition to 4 star hotels? Which one is it?

The correct answer is Asylum centres and condemned buildings such as Napier Barracks. We only used hotels because of the pandemic and the backlog in the courts (but then you get a backlog when you strip 5000 staff out of 8500 who were processing applications)

I see that they are accepting applications for staff at Yarlswood if you're interested

go here https://www.serco.com/uk/careers/immigration-careers

Perhaps ask yourself why your application has to be made to a company called SERCO and not HMG as that may give you a clue where the moneys going.

Do what Australia do and send em back. If they wanted a safe haven then they would have travelled through enough Countries for that, it pisses me right off...

Under the UN Refugee Convention of 1951 an Asylum Seeker has the right to seek asylum in a country of their choice NOT necessarily the first safe country that they arrive in.

Just a gentle reminder that the UN Refugee Convention of 1951 was written by the UK.

What is “our share” and not only WHERE is it written, but WHO DECIDED there was “a share” and WHAT Britain’s “share” was?

It’s sweeping generalizations like this that stake out territory without ever addressing the problems, and thus getting to the solutions!

David Cameron agreed our share as part of negotiations with the Eu. Dont you Tories follow what the party you support actually does?

Maybe train them up to be fruit pickers or lorry drivers? Would probably help the economy a bit more than banging them up for four years.
Just think of all the other things that need doing across our communities. I am not suggesting that people are given demeaning jobs, but tidying and renovating local facilities in exchange for accommodation and some spending money whilst claims for asylum are processed. Give people a chance to become part of a community whilst being seen to do something that the community appreciates.

Opened a conversation yesterday with a couple of colleagues who I though were open minded and they automatically said that they liked the idea and well overdue.

Conversation end.
