put my plate for sale on one of them sites and they have offered me £800 for it if they sell it but they have got it up for £1200,just thought i would see if anyone on here is interested in it,will take £700 for it

i have M100 CTY only cost me £110 and that was the reg fee as well got it from dvla 8yrs ago see one on the pers reg sites then see if its cheper on dvlas site ???

Actually couldn't get that one!

Been in Audi dealers today and on the wall is a notice from DVLA warning of clamp down on illegal spacing, telling MOT stations what to fail on!
My MOT due next week then a crafty little White screw cap going on the 7.

What's the story with the plates over there? I have MCFCAOK on mine ( yeah I know the "A" is a bit shit. but MCFCOK was taken). Why can't you just get what you want? I don't get these plates that have numbers and stuff in them. You can get whatever you want over hear as long as it's not offensive, and they only cost about $100.00 a pair.

The police angle is misrepresentation.....if I had say been driving in a hit a run vehicle, and still had my C7TY M reg.....a witness would decribe it as 'City M'.....and a good defence lawyer could apparently argue it's not what the reg actually says.....sounds silly, but there you go....

I now have D8 CTY (my initials are DB) so though not as good as the old one, but fully legal.
