My old man loved his cars but only had old bangers. One day when he was about 80 he won a couple of grand on the lottery. He bought a second hand beamer ( the height of motoring luxury in his mind) and a personal plate to go on it. He was chuffed to bits with it. When he died i sold the car but kept the plate which i still have 8 years later.
