Private plates

I have MAN CITY, but that’s easier in the States than most places, and doesn’t cost a fraction of what vanity plates cost in the UK.
I almost got MAN CITY when I lived in Toronto but my wife asked if I really wanted to drive round Downtown Toronto with that plate. If you know Toronto you’ll know what she meant. I decided against it !

We have an ACTUAL neighborhood called “Boy’s Town” and a large, vibrant LGBT community in Chicago, so I heard similar. However, I had a City badge air freshener hanging from the rearview mirror, a Manchester City FC license plate holder, and a wide Manchester City FC sticker in the back window!

The car is actually even called “Man City” in our household!

Plus, I’m fairly secure in my manhood. ;-)

P.S. There’s a MAN UFC and LEEDS U in my town, too!

This is not the thread for this debate, in my opinion.

What always amuses me (although it's not a funny subject) is how people claim capitalism is to blame but the country that is the world's biggest polluter is a self-proclaimed communist one.
Very true OB, but you forgot to to write "please explain" and "I'll wait" at the end. :)

and lets not forget that little Chernobyl episode from the Commies

My first car, ford anglia.
So many memories and scary moments following City around the country in the 70’s.
You would get a lot of money for that one today as it was just the 70th car with the new registration system in Manchester when introduced in 1963 after they started to run out of the older one in use for 60 years then.

My dad's first car was bought a few weeks after that in Manchester (a mini) AVM 526 B. As we lived near Maine Road then many City fans will have walked past it on the way to matches.
