He explains things well. But he has a nice charm about him that says "I might be smarter than you, but you have nicer hair, so we're equal".

He keeps explanations on topic without being patronising to the audience, a trait I feel is very northern (no offence to southerners, you just don't know how not to be cunts).

I would like to see him write a book based on his own research and gain credibility and acceptance from his peers.

Is that a bit of scientific snobbery stony? Do you not think the modern day Johnny Ball is doing a good job proselytising science? Widen the appeal and hopefully more people take it up?
