I enjoyed it not worth the 3D apart from the star map bit, also set up for a sequel would love to see if they find the engineers.

Got to agree with you mate seen it yesterday with a few mates and what a boring film, the storyline was shite i just couldn't get into to i also thought it was a very slow moving movie. 2 hours of my life I'm not going to get back

Agree with others saying how poor it was I was a big fan of Alien aswell so it's nothing to do with people not knowing story line just an all round slow poor film you expect to see on syfy at 4:00am which Is where it will be in 2 years
find it a bit strange that they would make such a quality, high budget film, which is a prequel to one of the most famous science fiction films of all time (Alien) and make no reference or connection to it in the trailer. Too cool for school or summit

Never left a theatre more disappointed in all my life.
Terrible script. Characters with no redeeming qualities. And a confused narrative that didn't know what it wanted to be.

I'd definitely go see it, it's about equal I reckon, the amount of people feeling disappointed and the people who liked it, make your own mind up.

I thought it was good, but not great. Definitely worth a watch. I don't get the comment about none of the characters having any redeeming qualities. Granted, only a couple of them do, but that was pretty much the case with all the Alien films.
