Protest v Wolves

This is what the directors want.

Cardboard cut out City fans.

For someone who dedicates a lot of time and energy pointing out the slagging off of City by the media you're doing a very good job of doing the same thing.

Did I mention City or anyone at City in the post?

I only post media articles slagging off City on the media thread every now and again. If I wanted to I could post a lot more articles slagging off City.

Would you rather have posters like me and other posters staying quiet about the way the club is treating our fan base?

That aside, you've done enough slagging City off yourself since you've been posting on Blue Moon. Post, Kettle, Black.

See you at the slagging City off protest on Tuesday. :-)

To be fair the club aren't exactly covering themselves in glory, and neither are the management of other premier league sides.

They need a verbal kicking to know we are here.

There may well be a few gripes regarding the club but fuck me, everything they do is getting the 'protest' treatment now. Some gimps on the shirt colour thread are predicting a riot..

I've got better things to do.

I'm glad you ignored the rest of my post. ;-)

If you've never ever slagged the club off in any context on the pitch or off the pitch whatsoever since 2004, 21 years ago, when you joined Blue Moon, fair play to you. You must be the only City fan on Blue Moon who hasn't slagged the club off.

BTW. I'm not slagging the club off. I'm slagging the directors off. I keep on making that point. Maybe you've missed that very important point? Why would I slag Pep and the players off? Why would I slag the hard working general people at City off?

Even without the planned protest........

Interestingly, there’s some 4250 plus seats still for Sale, for Villa at home tomorrow night.

PS. I did make a genuine mistake a few days ago when I posted the club is rotten from the top all the way down. It isn't. Apologies.

If the protest is similar in size to the last one or bigger, with the unsold seats, there could be up to 13,000 - 15,000 empty seats for 6 minutes at the start of the game.
I thought there was no concourse protest for Villa only for wolves and the protest tomorrow is outside the ground before KO

What should annoy people is that clubs are tracking fans and collating data, the club sells tickets to anyone they want to and if you can't go to a match you should be able to too.

Now we have got blue blood season ticket holders looking down on flexi gold holders, clubs have done a real number on what was the rank and file of what was a working man's game.
I don’t think anyone is looking down on Flexi-Gold members…

I’d describe it as ‘looking out’ for them.

The club are taking the piss trying to extract more money out of them for an inferior product.

Spot on. It's the club that are looking down on them by charging them £150 more than everyone else!

Well yes you did I'm afraid
You said and I quote
This is what city want and then had a picture of cardboard city fans
in the stand
So yes you did mention city

So, without having to go back I think this Villa one is about a protest outside. Is there a 'get late to the seats' thing here as well?

I think at the moment the team probably need everyone in the ground tonight creating an atmosphere like we had for the Real Madrid semi-final. There should be an absolutely deafening rendition of 'oh Kevin de Bruyne' ringing around the ground before kick off.

Yes I did.
I don't have a problem when I make the odd mistake.
I admit it.
We all make mistakes don't we.
You obviously picked up on my mistake and made a point of it. Well done.
That aside, I constantly reference the directors who have created this mess.
I stand by the cardboard cut out fans comment.
That's what the Directors want.
The image of Haaland scoring the penalty against Real Madrid, sliding over to the corner flag, whilst the South stand, level one, celebrated the goal, and the majority of the Colin Bell level one in that corner where stood emotionless, filming Haaland on their mobile phones.

I heard from someone who was in the room, that a certain director (who has since defected to United) joked that they LOVED playing football during COVID because they didn't have to worry about fans.

These are the type of people running the club. They are career men, chasing a paycheck or a promotion. They do not care about us fans, nor our club. Just their CV.
