There was a protest against Leicester, which I joined in with and the club took that on board and made changes.

Another one was planned for tonight and they also took that on board and again made changes.

What exactly are you protesting about tonight now because the club have done everything they realistically could have at this point.

Frozen season ticket prices
Effective removal of the FG fee
4500 new tickets released over the next 2 seasons (no other big PL club will be offering that).

Tbf to all the sceptics, words like predominantly and majority don't necessarily mean 4000 new season tickets. And it isn't a win until the new season tickets are issued. I used to write corporate bullshit like that for a living .....

Timing does look like a desperate effort to put off another protest that will be visible to Mansour. Hopefully Soriano is feeling some pressure. Keep it up!

I'd disagree with that TBH, unless you believe the club are lying about it always being their intention to release new ST tickets. The protests probably affected the flexi gold fee refund as far as we can tell.

You're making too much of the words 'predominately' and 'majority'. The GA+ seats account for the first one and if they say there'll be 50% of the expanded capacity (circa 4,000) issued as STs then I see no reason to disbelieve it. They most likely won't be all in the new stand but that will be down to demand and preference of the holder.

Protesting for cheaper tickets, piss taking of match attending fans, rip off prices, kick off times....the list is fucking endless. Keeping the pressure on is a wise move. Last minute offers to placate the plebs is another piss take. Kicking the can down the road.

More proper season tickets is a good start if it actually happens. Being able to take your kids is a very important win.

The club has the protesters in a corner right now . Loads more empty seats for the start of the match tonight after the scenes and pile on over Wembley last Sunday isn’t a great look in the scheme of things . Need a quick rethink over this one lads get behind the team from the KO we need the 3pts big time . Nice window after tonight’s game to think a new strategy as the next home game versus Bournemouth could be an FA cup victory homecoming……… who in the right mind wants a protest then ??? Come on lads you need to get this 100% right !

As the protest was specifically to address season tickets, and that has now been "addressed" by the club, city matters need to give some guidance here, and quickly.

Are the steps taken by city felt to be enough by supporters?

If not, we still protest tonight given the event was supposed to be about season tickets specifically.

If yes, then not protesting and roaring on the team at 8am sharp will also send a very powerful message, and we move on to the next specific topic at the next game.

But either way there needs to be a response from the fan groups, or the fans will be split and therefore less effective.

Noted that the club have sent two updates, one last night and one this morning.

You're wanting to continue a protest because of something they may have done instead of altering your actions based on what will actually happen.

No - we're wanting to continue the protest because there are still some outstanding issues. The point @jrb was making was that surely nobody believes this "It was always our intention....." guff coming out of the club. That's a completely separate point to continuing the protest

Yes, they are disgusting.
But they've been the same for about 3 years and they have already announced they will freeze for next season, which isn't ideal but is still a relative price drop.

Maybe, just maybe you could give the club the benefit of the doubt and believe what they say?
I have believed in the protests up to now but I personally think we should compromise and call off tonight's protest.
However as I cannot be there (but my seat is occupied!) I guess I should shut up.

There is no better way to unite the fanbase than to unite for a return to joy. If nothing else as a tribute to Wolves and their brave fans. No fanbase has fought harder against VAR than Wolves and that should count for something. They play a very focused and entertaining style of football. That is no coincidence.

The prices will come down if/when VAR is finally sacked. VAR has proven itself to be an incredible cost and angst to maintain. It requires so many moving parts, so many cooks in the kitchen, it is such the technological strain on the working conditions of all involved. That would have to be a crucial part to any protest.

It is also something that the club can relate to. All are well aware of how stressful their jobs have become due to VAR. VAR is like carrying an elephant on your back. So if you want to do something that the club can relate to, look no further than showing a desire to remove VAR out of the equation. And the red tape could be cut with a mere scissor. It is merely fear and paranoia that is stopping VAR from being removed. The VARers will fold like a house of cards if pressed. But thus far they have not been directly confronted about their failures and the clubs are not necessarily on their side because they are left doing all the leg work. The higher ups running City could use a break, they could use one less stress to think about. You have a golden opportunity tonight with Wolves, you have a fanbase that is the worldwide leaders in VAR resistance. And there is a protest already planned. But it needs to prioritize in the best way possible. Take this as some friendly advice that if you want to make a statement and an impact, the VAR problem cannot be ignored from your list of demands any longer. It should be at the top of the list if we're honest.

And if all else fails, there is always the forward kickoff. A forward kickoff can be made at any time if the willpower is there. There are times when the health of the sport and a bright future is more important than merely winning a match. It should be a great match with Wolves win lose or draw, but please unite the fanbase, we cannot ignore the elephant in the room any longer.

Maybe I’m being thick, but It doesn’t say 4,000 new season tickets. They could all be flexi gold, in other areas of the ground or season ticket holders moving from other areas into the north stand

Well I hope we don't class Flexi gold as real season tickets so in that sense we got zero, I'm happy they have said they realise the ten game attendance will cause issues and need to be looked at case by case, Child ticket prices are still through the roof as are adult prices, it's such a shame we can't do family tickets, I knew when they announced the ticket price for inter at home that it was going to be a pricey season
