Protest?

Not only are all of these a betrayal of the very supporters who've supported this club through thick and thin, but show a clear lack of long-term business understanding. Which tells me that our current business strategy is to make as much money as possible right now, and then 10 years from now it'll be someone else's problem anyway so who cares right?

The reason I believe we need to organise some kind of protest is that the club simply won't listen unless we make a fuss. They've proven time and time again that they won't listen to City Matters, and as individuals, we have absolutely no voice. If we make a fuss and the Media catch on, then we could finally start to see some change for the better.

Just a suggestion, would be interested to hear how others feel?

I wouldn't support a protest, certainly not one that potentially impacted on field results (fine margins and all that)
I don't think it's at that stage yet, I do think that a supporters trust would be a good idea

I live in Germany & the chances are slim to ever visit the Etihad. I don`t why people are so angry. I always thought the ticket prices compared to the other Top 6/8 clubs in the UK were "cheap". If it`s still the case then the fanbase would came across as spoilt. At the end of the day you pay "top money" for top entertainment/success.

I would be more salty about the fact that sometimes the club is snitching fans to the cops.

Most of those clubs are down south so higher prices are expected.
 
Fuckin pensions have just gone up 10%.

What sort of 'protesters' would we be? The good type, fighting for freedom and justice. Or the bad ones, that most of off topic will find a reason to slag off?

Why does every fucker need to get other people involved when they're pissed off by something? If you don't like it don't buy it.
My derby ticket cost £38 quid. Small price to pay for that day.

I suspect the wider group of supporters that don't visit BM aren't up in arms tbh. A banner or two for the cameras and a relative handful of people getting in late or whatever isn't going to change the club strategy as it mirrors all the upper echelon clubs. Maximise revenue, grow the support internationally and so on.

ffs rewind to 1997 if you want to protest! theres absolutely fuck all to protest about, we've just had the best 14 yrs of our lives supporting city

i can imagine...in the past i have always seen stats that the ticket prices at city were similar to mid table clubs..i think they do it because of FFP/PSR...Mansour/Khaldoon don`t care about 500k more match day revenue
 
I can't get tickets, nowadays I can't watch my team. I am happy with the club tbf considering the turn around iv seen in my life.

I understand if others are discontented though.

You could be on to something there. It would work very well for those in the lower tiers, pitch side, corners or by the goal. Not much use for me in CBL3, but for others that's a good idea. As long as it is not some company whose logo is red, that would be a poor show.

If it were red it wouldn’t stand out anyway when we play utd or liverpool as there are that many half and half scarves

Higher prices for clubs down south are expected, though there ‘s no real reason why they should be, think those clubs are far worse than ours.

The cold hard reality of pro sport is wages will continue to go up and ticket prices will continue to go up. It has been happening for ages.

The turnover worldwide of the premier league is enormous, it’s not unreasonable for players to want a big chunk .
 
As others have said, no problem with season tickets increase, what doesn't go up every year, however there is an argument to protest at the distribution of tickets to agencies for tourists ,and I feel sorry for the loyal away going supporters with many thousands of points and not getting a look in, That is outrageous.
