I'm glad to hear it.
Gentle mockery of one of our closest neighbours with whom we've had a love/hate relationship over many centuries doesn't constitute xenophobia. Jeremy Hardy, one of the most avowedly liberal and 'right on' comedians ever, includes just such mockery in his act.

I'm beginning to develop a soft spot for the professionally offended.
Life is altogether gayer, (in the old English sense of the word), I can visualise pursed lips and frustrated harrumphs as they seek out the next subject to be offended on behalf of.

It must take up a lot of time being offended on everyone elses behalf throwing racist and such "shock and awe" words about to prove a point
