I'm sorry and I don't mean to be rude, but there's a reason why moderaters can often be found asking people to stay on topic in threads. There is also a reason why the cellar exists as you know because you spend so much time down there. Frankly the views of a fair few in this thread are so embarrassing if I owned this site I'd have deleted this thread anyway.

There are rumours that Ric is flying Ban Ki Moon in to oversee the implementation of a demilitarised zone between the Main Forum and The Cellar. There will be safe passage for a number of refugees to pass from the Matchday Forum forum to The Cellar on matchdays and from the Main Forum to The Cellar for four hours after a match should we happen to concede a goal or two consecutive corners fail to beat the first defender. Forward Operating Post Marwood will be manned by Captain De Niro and Lieutenant Damocles and a crack team of moderators.

All gone quiet on the PC front. In the meantime I recall that you were well up on etymology. I also remember our mutual friend attempting a clumsy wind-up re your monicker. Some rant about black immigrants and druids, although it was never clear wtf they had to do with the thread. Anyway, now he raises the subject, I am curious about his own tag. I get the bit about "tash" being a hairy appendage. But who is/was "shaelum", its proud possessor? A close female acquaintance of cheese-eating persuasion perhaps? Just a theory. Wondered if you might have a view?
