Just an update for anyone on the Cup Scheme that have had an e-mail today.
I received an e-mail advising my payment had not gone through and they will try and take in within the next 24hrs -please update details or you may lose your seat blah blah blah
I called and spoke to Jade (very nice girl)
I provided my card details which worked fine for other league cup/champions league game.
It is the same details as on the cup scheme system in front of her. She just inputted the details in again and said City will take the payment within 24hrs (she could not take the payment there and then)
She advised me “there are a few tech problems” and this has happened a few times.
I asked what would happen if it doesn’t got through again in 24hrs as i cannot call again tomorrow.
She spoke to her advisor and confirmed that if my payment was declined again, my seat would NOT go on sale to someone else.
I should receive an e-mail tomorrow to confirm wether my payment has gone through or not.
Make of that as you will?
