The opening leg is the cagey game when teams play with caution. Now we have the nerve shredding bit to come. Could be very exciting. I'm nervous already

I didn't think this season had anything left to offer us. We need to stay focussed. Train properly. rest properly. be determined and make it happen.

How much possession did we have vs Leicester? Football is fast becoming more than possession.
 
PSG had the game under control after they scored to make it 2-1. At that point it could have gone away from us. But it wasn't like that all game.
 
They will be stronger without Luiz.
They will attack and not counter attack.
Fernandos mistake was easy for Ibr. to read. Full backs push up, centre backs split right and left, midfield drops back to collect ball from keeper.
Mangala on the whole had a good game and was our best defender.
KDB man of the match.
 
Pellegrini's quotes seem to infer he hasn't ruled Kompany out of return:

Pellegrini on Kompany's return: "We’ll see him during the week and the way he improves. The last days, Vincent worked very well."

Pellegrini: "Now we must test him [Kompany] with more intensity and it’s very difficult to answer now."

That'd be a big call. We don't need the disruption of him walking off after 10 minutes.
 
Great result and we looked like we could have gone on to win it at one point.
A big hand for Mangala and Otamendi who did their jobs well tonight and where much improved.
