La Liga is light years ahead of Ligue 1 in terms of competition despite being dominated by 2 teams.

You could argue it is better than the PL in terms of quality (not entertainment) i.e Bilbao vs United and it was an all Spanish Europa final.
The fact that the 3rd team in La Liga finished closer to the bottom of the table than the top makes your primary assertion border on embarrassing.

Also, as to your 2nd point, look at where Bilbao finished in the league. Only 8 points clear of relegation. It would be like saying Liverpool were an incredible team because they had 2 great cup runs. Rags were outplayed by Norwich home & away last season. By your logic Norwich are better quality than them. It would also mean us not qualifying out of our group in CL means we're shite compared to Europe. It's idiotic.

Im sorry mate but in my opinion Ligue 1 is nowhere near the quality of La Liga.

The issue with Spanish teams is that pretty much everyone either supports Real or Barca and on the sidelines they support their local sides. This is what I have learnt from Spanish residents. There is more money spent in La Liga and teams attract better crowds bringing in more money to attract better players. Better players = better competition.

Unless a few more clubs are bought out in France, the League will remain behind the leagues of Italy, Spain and England - How can any French team apart from PSG afford to buy players like Ibrahimovic? Plus the fact if a player from a French side has a great season, he moves on to a better league i.e Hazard, Giroud etc..

Most Spanish La Liga sides could put up a fight in the Premier League whilst most Ligue 1 sides would not.

There needs to be more and better competition in Ligue 1 for PSG to really become a great team especially in Europe, like I said in previous posts, players can become accustomed to weaker leagues and therefore forget what it is like to be tested at the top level.

There is enough talent and competition in La Liga for Madrid and Barcelona to be tested at a top top level, Ligue 1 in my opinion does not offer that for PSG.

Players from all around the world want to play in the Spanish league even if it is not for Real Madrid or Barcelona - The same cannot be said for the French Ligue 1.

Not an embarrassment mate, just an opinion!

You obviously don't know Ligue 1 at all, and telling the same bullsh**t about Ligue 1.

Obviously PL and Liga are the 3 best. Just just have to realize the gap between Ligue 1 and top leagues is not as deep as you think. In PL you have 4/5 top teams, but the rest is really really bad, just physical teams with no clue about tactic. Even Ancelotti said Ligue 1 is more difficult than PL (difficult doesn't mean better) because more defensive and tactic than PL, even Ancelotti said L1 is quite similar to the Serie A.

Most of english dudes talking about Ligue 1 never watched more than 3 games a year.

This year Lille is going to play in their new 55k peps stadium.
In 2 years Lyon will have 60k peps stadium.
Marseille, 65k peps stadium in 2 years.
Paris 60k stadium in several years.
And almost every Ligue 1 team will have new and bigger stadium for EURO 2016 in France.

BeIn Sport (own by Al jazeera) bought the TV rights for Ligue 1 and gonna broadcast Ligue 1 all over the world for the next years.

Ok PL ans LIGA are still way way ahead. But a lot of things are changing...
