PSG set to fail FFP again?

Well one thing seems to be settled that Mahrez and Jorginho will be signed and to keep us interested during the long summer we can have a monster thread on Hazard/Mbappe. Perfect.

Can we get Neymar ? He wants to work with Pep.
Neymar at City... no thank you.

I can just see Neymar trying to take the ball off Sergio when we're awarded a penalty. Or pulling some other equally ridiculous shit. Wouldn't want that selfish prick at our club at all.

We don't want anyone, even PSG, getting FFP sanctions. Doesn't interest us that this double-standards, hypocritical farse is being taken seriously.
No FFP and we buy who we want.

Would go as far as possible to sign Mbappe, he seems a great lad who would come on a ton under Pep and he knows Bernie and Benny from his Monaco days, go get him Tixi.

PSG have a load of players they could flog to raise funds if needed. Neymar being one and he would probably be first out the door. More trouble than he’s worth

Then you have Veratti. Add to that the 30-45mil players like Rabiot, Draxler and few more. They could still probably get a decent fee for Cavani

I imagine Mbappe is the last player they’d sell

PSG won't fail FFP and city will ?

just how corrupt are UEFA

I don't know if City will fail FFP or not but the cases are different.

While they launched an investigation after the window in 2017 summer, where PSG had bought Neymar and Mbappé, City wasn't investigated.

Nowadays, City is in the aim of UEFA because of the Football Leaks reveals. The cause of a sanction would be the breach of a rule that asks club truthfull reporting of financial affairs.

To make it short, what would be the cause of the sanction for PSG ? Inflated deals that, if valued properly, would make the club breach break-even rule. So PSG needs to show those deals have fair value or raise more money (like they are doing with new main sponsorship where it goes from 25 to more than 50 and next Nike deals that will go from 25 to 60 M supposedly).

In City case, there was no problem with the valuation of the deals according to UEFA after the 2014 sanctions. However, Football leaks is saying you reported X company paid for it while the sheik actually was the one paying for it. This is the problem. The strategy of City has been to not answer the allegations and make it sound it was untrue/manipulated. It is UEFA's turn to prove it is true if they want to put sanctions on City.

Etihad paid it, now if UEFA want to ask them to show them where they get their money that’s up to them.

Which UEFA will struggle to do. Even in the extremely unlikely event they were to get access to Etihad’s books, they’d find that any funding supplied in respect of their sponsorship of City didn’t come from Sheikh Mansour. That’s why City’s set-up is so much cleverer than PSG’s. UEFA could tie themselves in knots for years and still find they were coming up against a brick wall.
