they're going to have a miserable end of the season, no threat from behind so it will peter out for them. Shame.

Interested to see what the Qataris do with it over the next year. They banked everything on being able to brand their World Cup with Neymar, Messi and Mbappe being the poster boys as European champions ahead of the tournament. There's no incentive for them to keep the club after the World Cup has been and gone and their biggest stars have moved on. French League certainly needs the club away from Qatari hands.

This is why I don't put any faith in the CL success or failure. League always comes first and if you can't celebrate a league win because you didn't win in Europe then your whole idea of winning is fucked.
