They did do some focus groups a few months ago by invitation - my dad ended up at one which was all long term season ticket holders over the age of 45ish so they were obviously grouping them by category.
All of them basically gave the same feedback: they said they weren't remotely interested in any of the wacky ideas that were suggested such as 'extras' like getting your name on your seat, anything to do with half time entertainment etc, from what I can remember all they were bothered about was pricing (i.e. not getting priced out) and the availability of away tickets to real supporters (as opposed to corporates and agency day trippers-this was around the time of the Belgian Blues visit to Arsenal). I think they also all agreed that the Platinum thing was unfair. Can't see any evidence they have listened to them so far but maybe City were never interested in what they had to say...presumably they had other focus groups with more profitable types of fans, like the 'fans' from Malaysia and Scandinavia that they were asked to rank in order of importance.
The long term fans speak for many of us. Very interested to hear this meeting happened.
