A case of the PL committing corporate suicide just to satisfy the Red Top Mafia & Spuds' unhinged lust of stopping City by any means necessary.
Now they've hammered the first nail in the PL's coffin, & the only winners are Spuds who've dragged the rest of the "Big Six" down to their austere, bargain basement level, whilst the chasing pack are scared shitless of investing to close the gap on them because of what's happened to Everton & Forest. It won't be long until the other 15 PL clubs realise it's they who have the power, & it's they who stand to lose out the most, as they'll never again be allowed to invest to challenge, just as the legacy clubs intended.

Tbh it has been staring these other clubs in the face regarding the " power base " in the PL unless their chairmen are actually braindead.
But the big change is the likes of Everton and Forest now being caught up in the PL restrictions caused by FFP or whatever they have re-branded their shite as.
If the other clubs in the PL don't wake up to the reality and stand up against the scheming redshirts and Spurs then there is no hope whatsoever for their future success through investment. And the self-serving cunts will continue to ride rough shod against all other clubs not in their cartel.

Sky have had the shittest transfer window since the windows became a thing. It was hilarious watching their main transfer on deadline day being Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes to Ferrari!
The league will soon follow suit where no one will be able to challenge to "Big Six" until things change. All the big pulse racing transfers will become a thing of the past, & other European leagues will begin closing the gap on the PL, with the PL brand suffering as a result.
No one thought the Italian Leagues would suffer the way they have, nor La Liga. Just like ManUre fans never thought they'd go so long just struggling to get into the top four, those who stand to lose out most will soon realise nothing lasts forever, & global fans will go where the big transfers, big stars & thrilling action are.
The top transfer of the window being Radu Dragusin to Spuds at €25m plus €5m in add ons, will hardly sell the PL brand, or get anyone's pulses racing, let alone attract much interest outside of North London.
What the fuck has the Premier League done to itself, in trying to stop City from challenging the Cartel Clubs? ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯
It's just like a country in recession where everyone is too scared to spend, it's a self inflicted wound that will harm all clubs through the leagues. All transfers have a trickle effect and that's essentially been stopped, expect to see more clubs in administration in the lower leagues.

Don't worry, the shit that City have taken and will continue to take will be the catalyst for change with the red shirts hoping that they will be able to rule the roost again. People outside of City (and ironically un**ed in particular) are suddenly waking up to the shit they've caused in trying to guarantee success and Champs League for the same old 3-4 clubs. While it's hilarious to feel the worry and panic emanating from certain clubs it is so obvious that they will push for change and unfortunately it's very likely to happen to their benefit

It ultimately harms the PL Brand. A lot of what happens off the pitch effects the league as much as what happens on it.

When the top quality players and managers can't come here because clubs are paralysed, and instead go to Saudia, and Germany, and Spain, and Italy, whilst those already here leave for the same destinations, that harms the quality of the league.
When we have to rely on domestic nearly-rans, it will be conference level football in fancy crumbling stadia like that one by the quays.
At least Hodgson and Redknapp can get some easy work until their telegrams arrive.
