Just wondering whereabouts in Newcastle Blues will be drinking before the game?

Have been in The Crows Nest and Three Bulls Head for footy and non-footy reasons over the years and liked both. Probably Crows Nest on balance, but no idea where if anywhere NUFC designate as “away pubs”. Always had good times up there.

I was in the North Terrace albeit a few years ago. It was decent and really handy for the ground, being just across Leazes Park [emoji106]

Bodega is a cracking pub, not too far from the railway station.
Another ok pub on Westgate Road is Tilley's.
Bit smaller though...

Always go in the Bar that's part of the Stadium, all welcome as long as you don't start City chants, not bad prices and a Dj on

I've down the Town Wall a couple of times. Good for food as well and very close to the Station

Are you on the train mate? Victoria Comet just across the road from the station is kind of an unofficial away fans pub going off last season when I was there. We didn’t bother staying in too long though as there’s loads of other great pubs that let opposition fans in as well. From what I can see, even Shearer’s bar at the stadium allows away fans in. Not sure where I’ll be going this time round but I’m on the 6.45 train which is due to get in just after 9.10.

In the past, the Mile Castle (wetherspoons) near the train station is fine if you're not wearing colours or can put a jacket on to hide them. But just across the road at the Head of Steam I was congregating with about 30 city fans a couple of years back.

The Comet was our choice last season
