Pubs in Blackpool to watch Saturday's Community Shield

The Ardwick , near Central pier, £1.80 for a pint of John Smith's, I was in there earlier this year, guy behind bar had a City top on. Big sports pub with plenty tv's about the place.

Can be a bit rough in there tho.

The Last Resort on Bond Street is my go to pub. Only slightly dearer than the Ardwick and a nutter free-zone.

The Dunes on Lytham Road is decent has a big screen and a few TV's, about 15min walk from PB. Or if weather is decent the South Pier has big screen that should have it on.

Bad pub for me this.
Watched us get beat off Wigan in the cup final there.
It was rammed any everyone was cheering Wigan on.
Horrible day

If you want to impress your wife I would hop on a bus and watch the match in Lytham.

The Taps in Lytham is a good boozer. Only downside is its frequented by David Moyes.

Or Poulton-le-Fylde. In fact even Fleetwood might be a safer bet than Blackpool on a summer Saturday!

Saturday afternoon by the sea side, in the middle of riot season.

You’ll be too busy dodging the burning wheelie bins to be worrying about watching tele.

If Lytham’s too far, hop off to St. Anne’s, would be my advice.

Golden Eagle, Little Bispham, lots of telly's good beer and good mix of all fans, mainly Blackpool, City ,Utd and Liverpool. Match on in main lounge if you want food, or big screen in sports bar. Always a mix of fans so little chance of any mither. Watched Burnley get dicked by Sheff Utd in there recieved good natured stick from Seasiders.

I like the Taps but the Lytham Bierhaus has the best German beer I have ever drunk and its owned by two fanatical City fans.

I'll give that a try (Bierhaus) next time I'm down that end of the coast.
