Are the same people who did that still working for them now? I doubt it.Which kit supplier let us down 3 times in the 90s missing new kit launch dates because they prioritised another team?
Just about to post this. Price is only gonna go up from now if we keep this pace up.Did someone say £50M?
After this weekend, unless the ink on the contract is already dry, that just went up!
The only thing is, it's not about how good a team is, it's about how many shirts they predict a club will sell. So any shirt makers can say "well in the last five years you've sold 2.6m shirts at £18m a year, and we think you're only going to sell 3.7m shirts in the next five years and £50m a year is more than a handsome deal for you" and we have no answer to that. We cannot say "well, we think we will sell 4.2m and want £60m a year" because we can't prove owt.Just about to post this. Price is only gonna go up from now if we keep this pace up.

Exactly. Shirt sales don't begin to cover the cost of these deals for the manufacturer. Having your shirt worn in the Champions League final is worth far more to them. It's like counting how many fake Ronaldo boots have been sold to measure whether his deal is worth it.Not being pedantic mate but it's not just the shirt sales it's the advertising world wide they are paying for
