  Manchester City will become one of the top kit sponsorship revenue earners by wearing Puma kits from the start of the 2019/20 season, according to reports in Spain.
  
  Mundo Deportivo believe it is a certainty that City will swap Nike for Puma when the coming season ends.
  
  It comes as part of a deal that will see all of the City Football Group's clubs wear Puma kits - with the exception of New York City who are required to wear Adidas by the MLS.
  
  "The contract between City and Nike was not the most lucrative and the sum that City will receive from Puma, which has not been disclosed, will make City one of the highest earners from kit sponsorship," Mundo Deportivo report.
  
  "A few months ago rumours surfaced that City would leave Nike to sign with another brand, and Puma were one of those who picked up on it.
  
  
  "Now it is confirmed that as of the 19/20 season we will see City and Girona wearing Puma."

I don't really mind Puma, tbh. I'm just happy we'll get a change from the seemingly uninspired Nike template year after year and that our sponsorship deal will be competitive relative to other top teams in the world.

Both were crap imo.

But at least the black bits one didn’t have blue shorts, hooped blue and white socks, an awful looking soundwave effect and an overly done collar piece.

We look back at Umbro as though everything was perfect but their last two home kits were huge disappointments considering the prior two.

There-in lies the problem - can we expect to have a league home shirt and a european home shirt? FC Köln played in 8 different kits last season - where does it stop? Obviously no one is forcing you to buy them all but kids can be quite demanding.
