There seems to be an assumption by some that all the black pundits only get work because they’re black. All the women only get work because they’re women. But all the white males are shit anyway. Which doesn’t quite add up.

All we need is a transgender of colour then all the rest can be made surplus....

Makes me laugh when white middle aged men question Alex Scotts abilities to be a pundit - you can see that unlike her they don't have something like a career in pro football and something like 140 England caps and 70 goals and a degree in sports journalism whereas "Ian" who does the trollies in Morrisons seems to think he knows more....interestingly Jill Scott has much less much less abuse - anyone know the difference in them to explain why?

Despite Jermaine Jenas? I switched between both and stuck to bbc after Ratboys party political broadcasting about workers rights.ITV should have binned him off he thinks he can say what he wants with impunity. He’s a football pundit and not a very good one

If you're at the game, particularly at one end, you have no idea who most players are at the other end? On TV you have close up vision of the whole game and can see most players...and replays ;)
........so why does anyone need a commentator?
Unless they are deaf, but then a radio will be fine.

As someone who is pretty deaf, I can assure you that the radio is the best…..you can’t hear the wallies at all.
