Ok fair enough mate, it's just that you didn't say. Did you get to see the original Ruts?
I've bought about 3 versions of this film, the latest being on Blu Ray. I don't really like it and the character Ray is a real knobhead BUT as you say the live versions are tremendous and probably rank amongst the best out there.
It's a fascinating snapshot of Britain at that time.
The court bits, the sex shop bits , even the NF march or whatever it is. That was the peak of the Clash for me, between the first two albums - Complete Control , Clash City Rockers and White Man In Hammersmith Palais.
