Pure Class from Pep

Having been through a similar situation to the Arters, I've experienced how hard it is for people to know what to say to you. Not only is he a wonderful manager but he's a tremendous human being. My eyes filled up watching that.
Same here mate. We went through this too, our daughter Olivia had an overwhelming infection in her lungs and only lived for 15 hours and 35 minutes, plus the 9 months which are often forgotten as part of "life", and the last thing I wanted was for people to ignore or pussyfoot around it. To show that he feels what they are going through during their current pregnancy speaks absolute volumes for Pep as a Man.

I know it's difficult and I don't blame most people for not understanding, how can they?, but people with humanity look you in the eye and show they understand your pain. They feel it.

Stuff like Class, Respect and Dignity matter so much more than winning a football game and I'm so proud that Pep is our manager and representative.

Sorry to unload and I'm not looking for sympathy but at moments like this I'm reminded of what's important, and to show that what Pep did, is exceptional.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed he is a class act as he offered up a wonderful gesture to Republic of Ireland midfielder Harry Arter after his side’s 2-0 win against Bournemouth.
Arter turned in a battling performance as his Bournemouth side were outclassed by Guardiola’s top four chasers, yet it was the moment at the final whistle that will be the most memorable moment from this game.
Guardiola rushed to speak to Arter and it seemed that he offered his condolences following the tragic stillborn death of his daughter Renee in December 2015.

Guardiola appeared to say: “I’m so sorry for what happened to you and I wish you all the best,” with Arter clearly touched by the comments as he is counting down to the birth of his child imminently.
This is the moment that should be noted down as one of the most touching of this Premier League season so far.

Hope the media picked this up.
Would be nice to see them recognise what a great man we have as our manager.
We are soooo lucky to have him.

You will not believe that some wankers trolled him fir doing this on that PL Twitter thread. Sad scum. Pep had no need to do anything but he did and I bet it meant the world to Arter.
