I'm no expert but i understand that it used to be based around 1 anonymous social media account but has since spread accros alt right and main stream platforms and to various nut jobs claiming to be part of a network. Hence it has taken on a life of its own and there is no real single source.

What are they saying about Trump and the Tunnels? Did they hide them from him? Or did sleepy Joe dig them in his first 6 weeks?

I finally watched the Kubrick directed film Eyes Wide Shut (which I assume is one of the reasons for the QAnon conspiracy theory) and then found this.
