Dont forget the goalkeeper is also a defensive player.

That is correct, to be onside there has to be 2 players between you and the goal when the ball is played , usually by default the keeper is one of them as he is in the kine

There does.

Think about it. Normal offsides the keeper is the last man. He is classed as a player.
