Poor Pep, if only he had half a clue we’d have won that game 5-0. Hopefully he’ll log onto bluemoon before the second leg and see that there’s loads of advice to take on board to help him become successful.

We didn’t deserve to lose that game. Granted, we didn’t deserve to win it either but up until the goal we were under very little pressure and managed the game quite well. There were no stand out performances and there were too many under par, but still, that was a game in which walking away with a 0-0 would have been a fair result.
Delph is no longer good enough and Walker is becoming a serious concern. Otamendi goes from the sublime to the ridiculous over the course of 90 mins and even Laporte looked a bit out of sorts tonight. Add in Gundogen whose first reaction on picking up the ball is too look backwards and your match winners not on the boil it’s no surprise it didn’t end well.

We made an average bag of miss shaped spuds look like fucking big shiny king Edward's tonight!

Pep fucked up with Mahrez starting ahead of Sane, and as for Silva, he was a passenger for most of the game sadly. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but we needed De Bruyne starting ahead of Silva. .

I still think we will get to the semi but 'typical City' of old reared it's ugly head tonight.
Typical Pep more like getting it wrong in the Champions League. A good coach should not do this.

Peps mind was on next Sunday, a more important game. We can turn round tonight's result. Wouldn't dream of having a go at the manager!!!

It's a Pep masterclass in game management. When we win the next 3 games, many will realise that this was the game where he correctly rested a few for the battles to come. Didn't go brilliantly, but, 1-0 is manageable.
Keep the faith brothers.

I think Pep will analyze the game and kick himself. I could understand him playing this way against Liverpool or Barcelona away but Spurs? If we had played our normal team and style I think we would have won 2 or 3-1. tonight. A chance missed. Sure Aguero scores that penalty and it's a different game.

We now go into another must win game on Sunday and if he rests key players again we will lose that too. If he plays them and a couple pick up injuries then it just negates his plan tonight. We have four days rest after tonight and have rotated and conserved energy in the last three games. We are at shit or bust time now, every game is a must win. He can gamble and rest key players but if we lose it will be pointless anyway.

If we don't get a transfer ban then we need some quality additions in key areas as we all know some just aren't up to the job and when they are selected our levels drop right off.
Agree with some of that but the pressure has actually come off rather than on after tonight . I know that seems crazy but the quadruple is a huge attempt and we can now face reality now after thisdefeat which should have been a draw btw. It allows the boys to play more freely next game as it helps focus and bring people back to reality. The ultra conservative approach will not be seen again . It won't be a case of what we have We hold until perhaps later if we qualify for semis and final. The gloves will be off next Sunday let's be clear about that

Be interesting to see how Spurs approach the second leg. I'd imagine they'll sit back and try and frustrate us and go on the break. We'll have to be on our game and the crowd need to be really up for this as much as the Liverpool game. We are City, we'll fight to the end! Danilo and Stones for the second leg please Pep!
