SWP first scorer, QPR 2-1 at 60/1 looks decent. I've stumped a quid on it.
High roller....
Yes.

But at the end of the night, everyone else will have lost several pints worth of money, I'll have lost less than a can of Red Bull.
No worries mate, only having a laugh.

I'm not a betting man but it actually sounds a decent bet, I'd have probably stuck at least £3 on it though.

Haha I know you were.

And I only had just over a quid in my account.

Average player nowadays. Joey Barton is a better footballer.
SWP was my favourite player back in the day, but we were crap and had mcmanaman and siberski in the midfield back then. We were reliant on him running at people and shooting hence he stood out. He couldn't cross(apart from the Ade v Arsenal goal), he couldn't keep possession hence he failed at top level(the new City and old Chelsea). He was one trick, but okay at it.

Good luck to him mind, but I have no personal affection for him as he's related to Ian Wright(rhyming slang for Gob Shite).
i agree with this ^,he was the only half decent player we had back in the day, glad he's gone now though as he's very average

It's so easy to let passion cloud reality. A minority still think Dunne is the greatest defender in the world, Ireland is still the next Zidane and that Hughes is the next Mourinho.

Off topic, remember thinking some of these were the next big things? lol
Flood, Miller, Evans, Logan, Etuhu, D'Laryea, Bradley Wright-Phillips..

The very things that make us different to them cunts then.

If you cant say anything good about a legend like Dunne it would be better to say nothing imo He served this club well and as four time winner of player of the year desreves a bit of respect, as does SWP.

Be watching our little shauny tonight, just popped a fiver on at ladbrokes @ 10-1

Also they refund all first goalscorer bets if a new signing scores first!

I'll have a bit of that...

Not a bad shout that mate, I'm sticking a couple of quid on SWP and Barton, they're 14/1 at bet365

Barton is captaining QPR tonight and will be the pernament captain if he stay out of trouble apparently.

bet Taarabt isn't too happy about having the armband took off him.

Bluealf, Dunne did not serve the club well enough in my eyes.
2000-2004: He was lucky to be a City player after the first 5 years. Looked like he was on the beer too much. Remember the suspension the CLUB gave him?
2005-2009: After the summer fitness plan, he got back into some kind of shape, then eventually found form. Steely determination was he admirable quality but he was a good player in a very poor side. Own goals aside, he was awful when in possesion, hoofing balls upfield only to give the oppo a goal kick.
A true servant to our club would have stayed as a squad player/an experienced head to the youngsters. He left 6 months short of a testimonial fans like yourself would have loved to have seen. But instead he went to Villa, aimed a parting shot at our board and warned James Milner not to join us.
Legend? Not to me. I can't fault his effort for 4 of the 9 years he was here though.

SWP. In his second stint two goals at Sunderland will all that he'll be remembered for. Not the stuff of legends either.
