QPR v Newcastle (WARNING! May contain spoilers!)

Re: Good luck to shauny tonight, on 10-1 first goalscorer

Shaun got 2 last time he played there.

I can see a very motivated QPR giving Newcastle a spanking.

Good luck Shaun and Joey - City Legends!

Good look Sweep.

Has everyone remembered to send their silent thanks to Joey on this the occasion of his QPR debut.

Average player nowadays. Joey Barton is a better footballer.
SWP was my favourite player back in the day, but we were crap and had mcmanaman and siberski in the midfield back then. We were reliant on him running at people and shooting hence he stood out. He couldn't cross(apart from the Ade v Arsenal goal), he couldn't keep possession hence he failed at top level(the new City and old Chelsea). He was one trick, but okay at it.

Good luck to him mind, but I have no personal affection for him as he's related to Ian Wright(rhyming slang for Gob Shite).
i agree with this ^,he was the only half decent player we had back in the day, glad he's gone now though as he's very average

Disagree. He was an excellent player back in 04'. Chelsea move ruined him unfortunately.

First half - QPR should be 3 or 4 goals up, but it remains 0-0. Taarabt and Wright-Phillips have been excellent, but Boothroyd just can't find the net!

Second half updates resume in 15 minutes.

49' - Gutierrez somehow misses with a volley. He actually volleys it backwards!

54' - Wright-Phillips misses a great chance as he "airshots" a volley and completely misses it.

Seems wrong seeing Shauny in another shirt, even though he spent a few years at Chelsea.
