Queen Elizabeth II

Not seen an Archbishop in hi vis before!
Liked his polite advice that if he says "excuse me" to the BBC man, it means "move away, this is confidential".

The first person came up and recognised the BBC man ("ooh, I know you") who said "and also the Archbishop of Canterbury".

I think that many countries are envious of our history and tradition and see the pomp and circumstance as fit and proper after 70 years of service to this nation

Everbody’s entitled to an opinion but banging on about the Queen, how you hate the Monarchy or slagging those who actually give a shit puts you on the same level as the Scousers

Just my opinion
I'm a Scouser? Shit. I should probably tell my Mancunian mum and my Mancunian dad. And my Mancunian brothers while I'm at it.

Thanks for the heads up.

We slag them persistently for their lack of moral compass… What’s the difference if others do the same things??

If the cap fits…
So I lack a moral compass because I'm a republican? That's a savage irony, given our current ruler and several of his "bloodline" have the moral fibre of a street rat.

Anyway, enjoy your day.

Dont think many if any countries are that envious of either the history or "pomp". Outside of the UK it was past being big news since Friday, what still is keeping it relevent is the hysteria that seems to be taking over the UK. Also the apparent shutting down of anybody daring to question any of this is what most of the world is looking at now.
Where do you live mate?
Only asking because i arrived in the US on Saturday and it's been headline news on the main stations everyday and the procession of the coffin yesterday was shown live on some channels. They sent/ are sending top news anchors to cover events and will be there for the funeral.
I'm not seeing what you are saying and from my experience coming here there has always been a lot of interest in the Royal family.

It seems the anti monarchists feel the need to keep telling us,the boring cunts.
Yet another example of if you don’t agree with everything you disagree with everything nonsense, which is one of the reasons the country is in the state it’s in.
One can be supportive of a constitutional monarchy, reflect on the life of service and longevity of the Queen and be respectful of her passing without having to think that life should be shutting down, once again.
A criticism of one does not conflate to a criticism of the other and suggesting it does is, I suppose, just another absurd reflection of where we are.
